Anthony Crispino is global management, strategy, finance, and operations expert with an exceptional track record of value creation across multiple industries. He joined Bruin Sports Capital in 2015 and has played an integral role in capital fundraising, sourcing and completing 10 acquisitions, cultivating numerous long-term partnerships, recruiting senior executives, and oversees day-to-day operations for the company.
He also works closely, with Bruin CEO George Pyne and the executive teams of Bruin’s portfolio companies on strategic planning, business development, M&A, financial management, recruiting and talent development.
Before joining Bruin, he was twice recruited by Ted Forstmann, the first time to Gulfstream where he played a key leadership role in turning around Forstmann Little’s most successful acquisition ever. There, his financial and operational strategies were implemented across the manufacturing and procurement divisions producing double-digit percentage growth in profitability and record performance.
Forstmann tapped him again to join IMG, where he restructured global finance and operations for the company’s golf, tennis, fashion, events, consulting, licensing, college performance training and media business units. He established the operational framework for the businesses to grow and drive value across the company. Subsequently, he was appointed COO of IMG College to oversee the operations and growth of this business which achieved triple digit earnings growth during his tenure.
Before IMG, Crispino was SVP at Bank of America, recruited to bring his independent experience and perspective to the financial titan. He had oversight of a multi-billion operational budget and produced new levels of efficiency and operational performance for the company.
He holds a Bachelor’s degrees from Towson University, an MBA from Marywood College and a certificate in Strategic Management from Harvard University.
